From toddlers on balance bikes to beginners shedding training wheels, here are six local cycling paths perfect for all skill levels.

-Foothills National Recreation Trail: This trail sits atop a historic railroad bed and snakes through the river valley southeast of Tacoma. This 21-mile-long trail is a popular commuter route but you can enjoy shorter, more manageable segments. One of the most scenic sections for the unobstructed views of nearby Mt.
